Why choose Connect instead of a free service?
Connect is a deliberately small, managed service: three device configurations, a hosted gateway and direct setup guidance by email from PLATINIUM. It is useful if you want this fixed setup and a named contact rather than managing a larger networking platform yourself.
Tailscale Personal is a capable free alternative for eligible personal use, with up to six users and unlimited user devices under its current published plan. Tailscale provides a broader mesh-network feature set. Connect does not claim to be cheaper, more private or more secure than every free alternative.

Requirements and limits
Install the official client from wireguard.com/install. The target device must be on and configured for SSH or RDP. Outbound UDP to the gateway must be allowed. No public device IP, Internet-exit VPN, subnet routing, TCP fallback or enterprise SSO is included. This is an independent PLATINIUM service, not affiliated with Tailscale.
